The Good Physio is an independent provider delivering Specialist Physiotherapy services including effective treatment for Chronic Pain, Headache & Migraine, Sports and Spinal Pain. We also promote Wellness and Lifestyle giving patients the very best ongoing education and guidance helping them make informed health and lifestyle choices. We work with clients who are really committed to make these changes now so that, ultimately, they decrease their use of healthcare services, maintain physical activity and enjoy optimal quality of life as they age.
The Good Physio is more than just exceptional Physiotherapy care. It is a collaboration involving mental health services, orthopaedic medicine, neurology, specialist GP and wellness promotion that ensures that all of its clients needs are managed effectively under one roof.
The founder of The Good Physio is Nick Critchley. Having completed degrees in Exercise Physiology as well as Physiotherapy, he worked briefly in the NHS and then in private practice in central London. For 20 years he was involved in setting up and running private physiotherapy services integrating them with orthopaedics, neurology and sports medicine always promoting a team approach to patient centred care. On moving to Devon in 2018, Nick also worked briefly in healthcare management as well as completing a Masters degree in the Management of Pain & Headache Conditions before then starting up this new venture.
